The shape and size of your nose can be enhanced by the selection of the right bridge piece. A long nose can be shortened with a low bridge piece, while a short nose will look more prominent with a high one. A wide nose can appear slimmer if you wear a dark-toned bridge piece. Finally, a wide bridge piece will visually widen the space between your eyes.
Choose frame colour just as you would choose makeup – look for shades that complement (rather than contrast with) your skin tone. Eye colour should be a secondary consideration. If your skin tone is warm (with yellow undertones), look for gold, copper, khaki, coral, or red. Wood or light tortoiseshell finishes are good for you too. If you have cool skin tones (with pink or blue undertones) look for colours in the same spectrum: black, blue-gray, plum, pink, platinum, etc.
For a round, full face, the best style of frame is a squarish or angular shape. It will achieve a slimming, lengthening effect, especially if the frame is slightly wider than your face. Also look for a clear bridge which can widen the eyes.Complementary hairstyles include layered fringes and choppy sides that break up the facial shape by sweeping into the cheek and jaw line area. The Sakura iti, ni or san range of plastics does well with most facial shapes including fuller faces.
If your facial structure is square (a wide forehead, cheek, and chin area) soften the angles & add length by choosing frames with more width than depth, such as narrow ovals. Rimless & almond-shape frames also help to balance a square facial structure. Hairwise, avoid a blunt fringe & opt for a side path with lots of layers sweeping into the cheek and jawline. Frame choices that mask the jawline are Sakura Fire and Vicky

A heart-shaped face has a wide forehead & narrow chin. Try frames that are symmetrical in shape or the opposite shape – wider at the bottom, narrower at the top. A hairstyle that gives fullness and body around the jawline will also assist, such as a classic bob. Rimless frames are also a good choice as well as the Sakura Deep 2, Vicky & Matasa Classic Standard metal frames. To accentuate a heart-shaped face, choose upswept almond or cats eye shapes like the Scaasi Quirky Petite or Hepburn.

Triangular faces with wide cheeks and jaws but narrower foreheads benefit from cat's eye or almond shaped frames. To draw attention away from prominent cheekbones, a longer hairstyle with an asymmetrical parting and layering in towards the cheeks can help. Cat's eye frame options include Scaasi Grape and Curve.
For narrow faces, a frame that is kept within the borders of the face will add width. Round or square frames will shorten and soften the facial angles. Avoid extreme cat's eye shaped frames. Details on the temples at the front of the frame may draw attention to the narrow-ness of the face, so choose minimal front temple detail.Wear a choppy, blunt fringe with a bob or layered short hairstyle to create extra width to the face & avoid long sleek hairstyles with side or middle-paths. Good frames for narrow faces include Matasa Classic, Gisele and Sakura Jewel.
